This blog was created to document the progress of work over a mobile application for making secure connections between terminals.
The plan is that the application will allow data encryption for such services as:
- voice communication
- text communication à la sms messages
- video-chat (further future)
- conferences (further future)
- file transfer (further future)
The first version of the application (allowing the first two services) will be payable within 2-3 euros (but a free Shareware version will be available to try out whether the adopted communication model is acceptable by the user).
The application will enable point-to-point connections, however, in networks such as 3G / LTE, there will be a need for an intermediary proxy server (a free test server will be provided and a free full version of the application to be installed on own server).
Application’s release data: Summer 2019 (very optimistic) – this is my additional occupation and depending on the interest I will be changing its priority.
Why is it worth trusting me and my application?
Because I know a little bit about this subject: I have engineer degree title at the technical university of one of the European Union countries, field of science “IT” specialization “cryptography”. Because in my 10 years of professional work I have been dealing with similar subjects (cryptography and network protocols). Because I have already designed and implemented a similar protocol from scratch (due to some of its properties I can not use it in this new application).
